PEEL & STICK STONE VENEER FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What are the panel dimensions and backing type?
- Panel Size: 23.6″ × 5.9″ (60 cm × 15 cm)
- Backing: Self-Adhesive (Peel & Stick) – No glue, nails, or grout required
Where is it NOT recommended?
Due to surface and durability limits, do NOT install on:
- Countertops or tabletops
- Floors or pavement
- Wet areas (showers, saunas, wet rooms)
- Outdoor surfaces
- Any area with direct water contact or high abrasion
What surfaces can Peel & Stick veneers be installed on?
STONOVIA Peel & Stick veneers can be installed on a variety of smooth, clean, and dry substrates, including:
- Painted drywall
- Plywood or MDF
- Laminate
- Smooth tile
- Metal or glass
What tools can be used to cut Stonovia Peel & Stick veneers?
Our Peel&Stick veneers are made of natural quarried sedimentary stone. They are very stiff and firm, not thin and fragile. The general areas (not the thicker areas) can be easily cut with a utility knife, scissors, or snips. For thicker parts, use a power tool/circular saw to cut through.
Can I drill through or screw into the wall after installing Peel & Stick veneers?
Yes, you can drill through and screw into the wall after installing our Peel & Stick stone veneers. These veneers are made from real stone, so some minor flaking may occur during drilling.
Do Peel & Stick panels require grout or sealing between panels?
No, grout is not necessary. Our panels are designed as self-contained units with tight tolerances for a clean, seamless look. If a grout-like visual is desired, consider using a surface-safe sealant or colored caulk—do not use traditional grout.
